Terms and Conditions

Booking and payment
A booking is confirmed when we send you written confirmation by email after payment. Pay securely online by card through Stripe Checkout, or by card or cash at the marina by prior arrangement. Online bookings are charged in full at the time of booking; there is no separate deposit. All prices are in euros and include VAT; the prices that apply are those shown on this website on the day you book (price list as of 5 October 2026).
Cancellation and refunds
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure with a full refund. If DHMZ (the Croatian Meteorological and Hydrological Service) issues a marine wind warning for the day, we cancel and refund 100% — even inside 24 hours. Cancellations inside 24 hours for other reasons are non-refundable, but we will rebook you into the next available slot free of charge whenever we can.
Refunds are returned to the card used for payment. To cancel or move a booking, reply to your confirmation email or message us on WhatsApp with your name and booking date.
Weather
We follow the official marine forecast of DHMZ — Croatian Meteorological and Hydrological Service (meteo.hr). If a marine wind warning is issued for the booked date we cancel and refund in full. In marginal conditions the skipper or pier staff decide on the day whether a self-drive boat goes out and where a tour goes; that decision is final.
Fuel
Fuel is included on the Pasara 5 HP. On every other boat, fuel is charged on top according to what you actually use, settled at the marina when you return. Tour prices include fuel.
Skipper
Skipper add-on: €50 per half-day, €70 per full day (€80 full day on the Fisher 20), on boats where it is offered. Every tour includes a licensed skipper. On a skippered rental or tour the skipper has final authority over the route, the timing and the safety of everyone on board.
Self-drive rentals and licences
Boats under 5 m with engines up to 5 kW (our Pasara 5 HP) need no licence under Croatian law. Every other boat needs a recognised national boating licence or ICC for self-drive — or you add one of our skippers. The thresholds follow the Croatian regulations administered by the Croatian Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure. For a self-drive rental you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, that you hold the licence shown at the pier where one is required, that you are not under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and that you will follow the safety briefing, stay within the agreed area and return the boat at the agreed time.
Insurance, damage and liability
Third-party liability insurance is included with every rental; full policy terms are available on request before you book. Damage or loss caused by negligence, misuse or breach of the briefing is the renter's responsibility to the extent permitted by Croatian law. Personal accident and travel insurance are your own responsibility; we recommend cover that includes watersports.
Guests and conduct
Guest numbers may not exceed the capacity stated for the boat or tour. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. We may end a rental or tour without refund if instructions that protect the safety of guests, crew or the boat are ignored.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Croatian law. Disputes that cannot be settled amicably are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent court in Dubrovnik.
