About this tour

The Elaphiti Islands are the small car-free archipelago north-west of Dubrovnik, and this is the shared, lunch-included way to see all three inhabited islands in a single day: Koločep, Lopud and Šipan. The tour departs Marina Frapa at 09:00 and returns at 18:00 — nine hours, with no more than 12 guests on the boat. The first stop, about 25 minutes out, is Koločep, the smallest and nearest island, for a swim in one of its rocky coves.

Lopud is the long middle stop: Šunj is a rare sandy beach in a shallow, sheltered bay on the island's far side, and the harbour village has a 15th-century Franciscan monastery and a waterfront promenade. Lunch — included in the price — is in a small village restaurant; tell us about any dietary needs in the booking notes. In the afternoon the skipper crosses to Šipan, the largest and quietest of the three, for a last swim and a look at one of its two harbour villages before the 45-minute run back to the marina.

The tour suits solo travellers and couples who want a full island day without organising lunch, and families on a budget — children pay €30. Because the boat is small, the skipper can adjust swim time to the group and to the conditions on the day. The price of €65 per adult includes the skipper, fuel, safety equipment, a welcome drink, beach towels and lunch.

Bring swimwear, sunscreen, a hat and some cash for drinks ashore. The tour departs from Marina Frapa Dubrovnik, Lapadska obala 21a, about 15 minutes by taxi from the Old Town — please be at the pier a little before 09:00. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure; if DHMZ issues a marine wind warning for the day we cancel and refund in full.

Questions about this tour

What is included in the tour price?

Every tour price includes a licensed skipper, fuel and safety equipment, so there is nothing to settle when you return. Private tours are priced per group of up to 12 guests; shared tours are priced per person, with a child rate. Food and drink ashore and the Mljet National Park entry ticket are not included.

Which Blue Cave do your tours visit?

The Koločep Blue Cave in the Elaphiti Islands, about 25 minutes from Marina Frapa Dubrovnik — not the Biševo Blue Cave in central Dalmatia, which is more than 200 km away and cannot be reached on a day trip from Dubrovnik. Book a slot that puts you in the cave between 11:00 and 13:00 for the brightest light.

Where does the tour start and end?

All tours depart from and return to Marina Frapa Dubrovnik at Lapadska obala 21a, about 15 minutes by taxi (roughly 4 km) from the Old Town. Departure times are fixed per tour and shown on this page, so please be at the pier a little before your slot. Parking is available at the marina.

What happens if the weather is bad?

If DHMZ (the Croatian Meteorological and Hydrological Service) issues a marine wind warning for the day, we cancel the tour and refund 100%, even inside 24 hours. Where possible we offer the next available departure instead, free of charge. Tours never run in conditions our skippers consider unsafe.
