About this tour
The Elaphiti Islands are the small archipelago north-west of Dubrovnik, and the nearest of them, Koločep, is only about 25 minutes by boat from Marina Frapa. That short crossing is what makes this the classic full-day private tour from the city: eight hours on the water, departing at 10:00 and returning at 18:00, with three islands within easy reach and no long transit legs. The skipper starts with a swim stop on Koločep, a car-free island with clear rocky coves, then continues to Lopud.
Lopud is where you spend the heart of the day: Šunj is a rare sandy beach in a shallow, sheltered bay on the island's far side, and the village on the harbour has a 15th-century Franciscan monastery and a handful of waterfront restaurants. Lunch ashore is at your own expense and at your own pace — the boat waits for you. In the afternoon there is time for a third stop, either across to Šipan, the largest and quietest of the three islands, or into a second bay on Lopud for one more swim before the run home.
Because the tour is private, the order and the timing are yours. Families with small children can shorten the swims and lengthen the beach; a group of friends can skip the restaurant and picnic from the cooler instead. The boat carries up to 12 guests.
The price of €500 is per group and includes the licensed skipper, fuel, safety equipment and a cooler with ice. Bring swimwear, towels, sunscreen and cash or a card for lunch. The tour departs from and returns to Marina Frapa Dubrovnik, Lapadska obala 21a, about 15 minutes by taxi from the Old Town.
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure; if DHMZ issues a marine wind warning for the day we cancel and refund in full.

Questions about this tour
What is included in the tour price?
Every tour price includes a licensed skipper, fuel and safety equipment, so there is nothing to settle when you return. Private tours are priced per group of up to 12 guests; shared tours are priced per person, with a child rate. Food and drink ashore and the Mljet National Park entry ticket are not included.
Which Blue Cave do your tours visit?
The Koločep Blue Cave in the Elaphiti Islands, about 25 minutes from Marina Frapa Dubrovnik — not the Biševo Blue Cave in central Dalmatia, which is more than 200 km away and cannot be reached on a day trip from Dubrovnik. Book a slot that puts you in the cave between 11:00 and 13:00 for the brightest light.
Where does the tour start and end?
All tours depart from and return to Marina Frapa Dubrovnik at Lapadska obala 21a, about 15 minutes by taxi (roughly 4 km) from the Old Town. Departure times are fixed per tour and shown on this page, so please be at the pier a little before your slot. Parking is available at the marina.
What happens if the weather is bad?
If DHMZ (the Croatian Meteorological and Hydrological Service) issues a marine wind warning for the day, we cancel the tour and refund 100%, even inside 24 hours. Where possible we offer the next available departure instead, free of charge. Tours never run in conditions our skippers consider unsafe.
