About this tour
Korčula town sits on a small peninsula at the eastern tip of Korčula island, facing the Pelješac peninsula across a narrow channel. Its old town is a compact grid of stone lanes inside Venetian-era walls, laid out in a herringbone pattern to break the wind, with St Mark's Cathedral at the centre and the house traditionally claimed as Marco Polo's birthplace a few steps away. It looks like a smaller Dubrovnik with a fraction of the visitors, which is exactly why people book this day.
The tour departs Marina Frapa at 10:00 and returns at 18:00. The run north-west takes just under two hours, following the Pelješac coast — the shore that grows the Plavac Mali red wines of Dingač and Postup. Before Korčula town the skipper anchors in a bay on the Pelješac channel for a swim, then drops you at the town quay for about two and a half hours ashore: the walls and towers, the cathedral square, the covered stairway of the land gate and lunch in one of the lanes, at your own expense.
The return leaves Korčula mid-afternoon to be back at Marina Frapa by 18:00. The channel can be breezy in the afternoon, and the skipper decides the exact route and timing on the day; if DHMZ has issued a marine wind warning, the tour is cancelled and refunded in full. The price of €820 is per group of up to 12 guests and includes the licensed skipper, fuel, safety equipment and a cooler with ice.

Every tour price includes a licensed skipper, fuel and safety equipment, so there is nothing to settle when you return. Private tours are priced per group of up to 12 guests; shared tours are priced per person, with a child rate. Food and drink ashore and the Mljet National Park entry ticket are not included.
Which Blue Cave do your tours visit?
The Koločep Blue Cave in the Elaphiti Islands, about 25 minutes from Marina Frapa Dubrovnik — not the Biševo Blue Cave in central Dalmatia, which is more than 200 km away and cannot be reached on a day trip from Dubrovnik. Book a slot that puts you in the cave between 11:00 and 13:00 for the brightest light.
